Hey, my name's Liz and I am an OTTAWA SENATORS FAN. This is the first and most important thing you need to know about me. First became a hockey fan at the age of 11, when the Sens made the playoffs for the first time, and I've triumphed through our regular season successes and suffered through our playoff defeats ever since then. My loyalty has never wavered, although there've sure been some times when I've wondered why in hell I chose to get into this crazy sport in the first place.

Other stuff? University student, live in an apartment with my three kitties and an extensive collection of Sens and Montreal Canadiens memorabilia. (For I am not an exclusive-team person -- the Sens are my first and will always be my favourites, but I have a soft spot for the Habs and Red Wings and consider them my second and third teams, respectively.) Hockey season is the best time of year in my opinion.

This is my hockey journal. I started it because, let's face it, not everybody is a hockey fan. There's likely some people on my regular journal who get sick and tired of listening to me blathering like a madwoman about hockey. So, this journal is my oasis. It's where I get to be a crazy nutty hockey fangirl for as much and as long as I want. It's where I get to squee over my favourite hockey guys (WADE REDDEN being the all-time most awesome), post birthday greetings to them, archive newspaper articles that are of importance, write fanfic on occasion, and type up game recaps. It's where I get to be a hockey fan. And it's completely public, so anyone can read it.

My "other" journals are senatorsfan (personal journal, friends-only and I will add you only if you comment first) and senatorsfan_ink (writing journal, completely public). Feel free to hop over to those if interested, but there won't be nearly as much hockey there.
